Tomtom provides on its site that Tomtom 5 is not suitable for the Yakumo Delta 300 The Mio (PDA is still the same?) Would be supported.

Has anyone any experience with or tips on how to install Tomtom 5 yet?

The Delta 300 would do very well suited to be built by the GPS antenna.

Has anyone already tested whether the software is running well now?
I would buy TT5 but I think there are not many with this PDA.

I own tomtom3 on my Yakumo delta 300GPS and also read with surprise the compatibility list of tomtom, which states that the Yakumo delta 300 would be inappropriate for tomtom5.
I have tomtom immediately seemed to put the fire and here is the final result:

Dear Sir,

We currently have no data of this test that a PocketPC flawless operation of the new software can guarantee. For this reason, the PocketPC is not relevant to the compatibility list. This is information we have of the MiTAC Mio 168 and for this reason this is as appropriate in the list.

It is possible that the new software but will work on your PocketPC, here, we can not guarantee it. For this reason he is not suitable in the list. We recommend the site to monitor. When support for your PocketPC will be offered on the compatibility list.

Best regards,

TomTom Customer Support Team

My decision here is that tomtom5 will work equally well on the Yakumo delta 300gps like the Mitac Mio 168, tomtom just does not officially support their product for the PDA because of missing test results.

In any case, I ordered the upgrade.

But do not forget that a large number of 168 million users are very many problems with TT5. This despite the Mio 168 in the compatibility list. The probability is very high that you will get these problems.

I am an x Yakumo PDA Delta bought it with an integrated Sirf Star III GPS Receiver (20 channel). I've tried TT3 and TT5, first you get the message "no GPS device" under Enver no useful GPS signal. This usually takes 3 to 10 minutes or longer. Also comes while navigating the signal path and tt is closed. This would be a problem of Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, because all the software you install a conflict does. Who can help me so that TT works properly or there is not a good driver of tt for the SiRF star III chipset??

Sorry to hear, SiRF Star III is definitely an improvement on paper only if it is not (properly) is supported with drivers have a problem.
Currently, the GPS driver TT5 seriously inadequate.
Try it with the stable version 3.07, is it okay?
