The battery life seems to be quite dramatic ... at least I have here and read.

Because of this, according to HP Netherlands Netherlands in September at the earliest, half will be available via eBay that I purchased it and since more than one weeks in use.

Have purchased the expensive implementation with 120 GB Hard Drive, 1.6 GHz processor, 2Gb Ram and 6 cell battery.
Have 760, $ = paid + $ 85 shipping and handling. Total 846, = $
Converted about 547, = euro. Unfortunately, still 115 = EUR VAT and import levy. Total of 662, = Euro.

No peanuts for a minilap but what OOOHHHH ission beautiful.
It is truly full-size keyboard and the screen is super sharp.

The removable 6-cell battery sticks to bottom out and thus gives a small slope on the keyboard which I myself find very pleasant to use. The weight is not low, but this is no disadvantage to me. The mini is good with 1 hand to pick up and move. I find the perfect size, fits perfectly in the glove compartment of the car, is not the whole table to complete during meetings and also on the boat is not sta-in-the-road.
The letters are small, very small, but it is with some setting changes to adapt.

Disadvantage: It is Vista ..............
Now you might say that an advantage but I think Vista is the biggest drawback of the mini note.
Now I have no experience with Vista since I upgraded my desktop free time failure have left all negative messages about compatibilliteitsproblemen etc. And the experiences I have had my mini me within 2 days to decide whether Vista off to demolish and XP Pro to put it.

The program is in my opinion much too heavy for the Via processor so everything is quite slow. A Web page requires 100% CPU capacity! An online game play (backgammon) delivers with every turn 2 a 3 seconds delay.
Just a quick file retrieval and access is not there a movie and play is a tragedy.

If you think Vista is a fine program that slow and do not mind let it sit mainly because switching to XP is quite a job. On the site are now all HP drivers for the mini note there because I'm not the only one who find Vista a disaster. Downgrade to XP Pro is also free if you have an XP Pro installation disk (copy) you install are already used with the ProductKey XP and then log the phone and give ProductKey by Vista. you will get an activation code for your XP-pro.

XP Pro installed with the mini note is a raging roeland everything that you can handle him voorschoteld.

On xp-pro I have mozilla installed and VLC media player for ease of use.
